Rudolph Hat

My friend Melinda sent me a cute suggestion and so rather than buying the pattern, here is my own version of it. I was so happy with it and am making them for all my boys for Christmas hats this year. Thanks Melinda!

Fall Hats

I have been working with some fall colors and these are two of the hats that I made this week. I did the swirled hat with burnt orange and dark brown and added a brim and then I did a ridged newsboy cap in burnt orange. Both are $20 each if anyone is interested.

October Giveaway: Tom Turkey

So October's giveaway will prepare you for Thanksgiving. I loved creating this lovable little guy and he is a great centerpiece or decoration for Thanksgiving. As always, enter to win by leaving a comment, becoming a follower or grabbing my blog button (let me know you did this). I am also having a problem contacting people who leave comments but don't show their profile information publicly so some people are missing out on claiming prizes. Please leave your email in your comment if this is the case so you don't miss out!

September Giveaway Winners

Since only 2 people wanted to win this giveaway, you both get a candy corn bag. Just contact me with which one you want and your mailing information, if I don't have it and I will get them out this week. Thanks!

Boots!

I was in love this pattern when I saw it and have made several cute pairs as you can see. You can purchase the pattern here. If you are interested in a custom made pair in the colors that you want, they will be $15. They come in newborn-6 months and 6 months-1 year sizes.

Character Crochet

My kids are currently obsessed with the Popcap game Plants vs Zombies so I thought I would try my hand at some of the plants that the kids like. Here is my first one, the Hypno Shroom.
We'll see if I can do more in the next couple of weeks.

This is the King Boo doll I did for Jacob's birthday. You can find the pattern here. The lady that did this pattern is amazing and has lots of other character doll patterns from Pokemon, Despicable Me and Sonic.

Fun with Spirals!

I found a great tutorial for spirals and started making this hat. The yarns I used were soft ecru, guacamole, and sage green. These are so fun and I am seeing Christmas hats in my future because they would look like cute peppermint candies!

Duck Hat

Here's the cute duck hat that I made for one of my little guys! I thought it turned out pretty good.

Birthday Gift

This is the hat and scarf that I did for a friend's birthday. These are so fun to make!

T-shirt Hats

Ever since I saw this tutorial I have been dying to make these hats and finally did. They turned out cuter than I imagined and were so super easy! I already have plans for more! Evan's is the red one with stripes and is made out of his favorite t-shirt that ended up with stains and holes. Now he can continue to wear it! Benjamin's loves his green hat and hasn't stopped wearing it since I made it. He even wore it to summer school this morning:) And I just thought the tie dye would be cool and it is! Fun stuff!

July Giveaway: All Seasons Scarf

Due to a serious case of poison ivy, I have been behind. But here you go! The new giveaway for July! These are samples of my All Seasons scarf. You can wear these any time of the year and they are always cute! I will let the winner choose the color for the scarf and up to 3 colors for flowers. You have until July 31st to leave your comment and have a chance to win one of these beauties. I have more scarves in the works and will post those to give you more color ideas. They are made from Lily's Sugar 'n Cream 100% cotton yarn. Love that stuff and they have some great colors!

School Gifts

This is the cute fridgie frog that I made for their bus driver who loves frogs! I have had this pattern for 4 years and wonder why I never did this before!

These are the apple magnets I made for the speech and OT teachers.

These are the dish scrubbers that I posted earlier wrapped in their cute bags with tags. My kids teachers and teachers aides are so fabulous and I love making them something to show how much it means to me that they do such a good job!
