Sssssnake Hat!

My friend wanted me to do some fun hats for her boys in any character they wanted so when I asked, they said snakes! This is really funny in light of her recent problems with snakes in her house. She never wants to see one again but now her boys will be walking around in these! I will post the second one when it's finished.

Blast of a Birthday Gift

Rocket upright

Rocket top

Rocket bottom

We had a birthday party and since I loved doing the first rocket pillow, I thought this would be a fun gift to do again in some different colors. I really liked how it turned out!

Flower Headband

Since I don't have any little girls, Jacob was kind enough to model this headband that I made. I have been loving these flowers and made these as gifts for a couple of cute little girls I know.

Mother's Day

These are the corsages I did for Mother's Day for some ladies at church and for the kids teachers for National Teacher's Day!

These are the pots of flowers that I did for the moms on my side of the family for Mother's Day: my mom, Reina, my sisters, Jessica and Jeannie, and sis-in-laws, Julie and Candice. They were really fun to make!

Race Car Applique

I have been doing the race car slippers for a while but though it would be cute to start doing sets with a race car applique on hats and onesies. Here is what I came up with. I would love to hear what people think about it! I am going to do a onesie and blanket to match next.

Star Wars Crochet

R2D2 hat from various angles so that you can see all the details

Yoda

I made these as a gift for Evan's friend, Jimmy's birthday but Evan modelled them for my blog. I have the patterns written down so I can sell the pattern to you or I can make the hats and sell them as well. It's amazing what a classic Star Wars still is!

Finalist in Yarn Contest!

I was so excited to get an email telling me that I was a finalist in a Yarn Contest in the Baby and Kids category for my Race Car Slippers submission. It was really an honor to have made it that far! The contest is over and I didn't win but it was still a great experience. Thanks to all those who have supported me in my crafting and inspired me to be creative. I owe my inspiration for these to Matthew, my little 2 year old:)
