I made these as a gift for Evan's friend, Jimmy's birthday but Evan modelled them for my blog. I have the patterns written down so I can sell the pattern to you or I can make the hats and sell them as well. It's amazing what a classic Star Wars still is!

Finalist in Yarn Contest!

I was so excited to get an email telling me that I was a finalist in a Yarn Contest in the Baby and Kids category for my Race Car Slippers submission. It was really an honor to have made it that far! The contest is over and I didn't win but it was still a great experience. Thanks to all those who have supported me in my crafting and inspired me to be creative. I owe my inspiration for these to Matthew, my little 2 year old:)

My niece's best friend is having a baby boy and so she asked me to do this pillow set. It turned out cuter than I could have possibly imagined! (And please ignore my unmade bed:)

Teachers Gifts

I am planning ahead and these are what I plan on giving my kids teachers at the end of the year. They are apple scrubbers to use in the kitchen. Very cute! I would be willing to make these sets for anyone else for $10 a set.

My friend Alayna recommended my crocheting skills when her sister-in-law wanted some custom made items for her upcoming family photo shoot. Here are some of the really cute family photos they had taken. I made the hats, scarf, mittens and booties for the baby. So much fun and such a cute family! Flower Scarf

Someone sent me a picture of a scarf and asked me to do it in these great colors. I have included some close ups on the flowers. Now I need to make one of these for myself! It was so much fun and very cute to make.
