Barbie Dresses

I did these dresses a while back for my friend and am finally posting them! Thanks Shannon for letting me borrow a Barbie to size them!

Fiona's Dress

After two boys, my friend is finally having a little girl and this is the outfit that I made for her.

I based the design on a bandana dress pattern that a friend of mine sent me.

I love making these!

On a side note, I got the cute shirt to go under it at Target.

Mother/Daughter Beach Hats

I did my granny square hat in solid Lily cream cotton.

The actual color of the yarn shows better here.

Frilly edging. If you like these, they are $15 for adults and $10 for kids.

Pay It Forward!

My sister-in-law Julie started this on her blog and asked those who posted to do the same and Pay It Forward! So to honor her request, the first 3 people who post a comment will get something handmade by me. I would also like to add that "Pay It Forward" has been my oldest son's theme at his elementary school this year and it has been nice to see the acts of service and the attitude that they are encouraging in the kids. So refreshing! So Pay It Forward in your own way!

The Naomi Set

My good friend from college just adopted a sweet little girl and asked me to make something. Hence, the name of the set. She mentioned that she loved my granny square stuff so here is what I came up with!

I would say the hat is really a 3-9 month size.

Here's the dress. It's sized for a 3-6 month old.

Baby Girl Set in Soft Lilac

This is my friend's cute little girl wearing the set for Easter. So sweet!

The dress and bonnet are done with a pattern in an Interweave Crochet magazine that I have. The booties I designed myself. I wanted mini Mary Janes.

Close up of the bonnet. The pattern called for a crocheted chin strap but I liked the look of the ribbon with the little bows that I themed the outfit with.

Close up of the front of the dress. It has one little button to fasten the back of the dress.

This is the baby set that I recently sent to my friend who requested the Safari Girl blanket. I had so much fun with this having no girls of my own.

Hat of Horns

I did this hat for Crazy Hat Day at my son's school but this would be great for Halloween and fun in other bright colors.
